The Macchialupa Winery is located in the Valle del Sabato, on the border between the provinces of Avellino and Benevento, amid wide valleys and towering ridges where, at an altitude of around 450 meters, the Falanghina, Greco, Fiano and Aglianico grape types are cultivated. Their passion and love for an area rich in winemaking traditions and culture led enologist Angelo Valentino and agronomist Giuseppe Ferrara to set up this small winery, which is masterfully run by its founders.

Aglianico of Taurasi 100%

During about 18 days of temperature controlled fermentation, the must undergoes to frequent pumping over. The wine then ages for about 12 months in French oak barriques and refines about one year in the bottle.

Serve at 18/20 °C with meat and vegetables dishes. A.V.B. 13% vol
